Angelica Fatouros, born 1964, holds an M.Sc. Degree in Biochemical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Royal School of Pharmaceutics in Denmark. Angelica is primarily covering large cap pharmaceuticals. Before joining the Healthcare team, Angelica was Head of Nordic Healthcare Research at Carnegie Securities, covering pharmaceuticals and biotechnology stocks, and was top-ranked sector analyst in several client surveys. She has in total 7 years of sell-side experience from Carnegie and Enskilda Securities. Before that she worked for 10 years in pharmaceutical R&D in various positions at Pharmacia and at the Swedish Defence Agency’s research department, FOA (today part of the Karolinska Institute). She has worked both with biotechnology products and small molecular drugs, including developing and filing a biotechnology drug, Refacto (recombinant factor VIII SQ for the bleeding disorder hemophilia), and obtaining four patents in the area of pharmaceutical formulation.

Mikael Svensson, born 1974, holds an M.Sc in Business Administration and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics. Mikael is portfolio manager of the Global Healthcare fund and responsible for specialty pharma, generics, services and healthcare IT in the team. He has worked within the Carnegie healthcare team since 2000.

Ulf Arvidsson, born 1961, holds a Ph.D in Medicine and a University Medical Degree from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, complemented with studies in finance at the Stockholm School of Economics. Ulf covers the biotechnology sector in the team. He has extensive experience from the healthcare sector as well as the financial sector. Following the completion of his doctoral degree, Ulf conducted postdoc studies at the University of Minnesota before being appointed Associate Professor at the Department of Neuroscience, Karolinska Institute. He has practiced as Medical Doctor at Karolinska Hospital and Danderyd Hospital, and worked as a scientist at the Karolinska Institute and Neuromics, Inc. In parallel, he has more than 8 years experience from the financial industry with a primary focus on healthcare, having served as portfolio manager responsible for European healthcare equities, buy-side analyst responsible for global healthcare equities at AMF, and sell-side analyst ar Nordea.
